Seven Light is developing a feature length production, inspired by the short film Different Day.
A soulful, delicate and vibrant coming-of-age drama about sisterhood and survival. Beehive is told through the eyes of Alice, a young woman who once exposed her father’s abuse and has spent her young life holding her fractured family together. Against the backdrop of a faded seaside town, the film explores how joy can endure through the cycle of generational trauma, and how the family we choose can heal the damage of the one we’re born into
